Betty is a financial Professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.A.) in Business Accounting and Management. She is married and has three adult male young men. Juan Derrell, Howard Gerard and Brian Wilson.
Betty is a new author on the horizon of a Christian Romance novel titled "Loving from a Distance". a Fiction novel. This Novel covers the life of Brenna Smaller, throughout elementary, high school, and college. They are a group of Christian families growing up in Atlanta, GA area with a love for performing Christian music and professional recording. She loves singing and being on stage and then she fell in love with a neighbor's grandson. She was too young to date him and she had to love him from a distance and then she grew up. They dated through high school and college, the love was always there for them.
After taking her first class in writing at the university of Phoenix the finally understood what she wanted to do. She started writing a novel right away and from time to time would pick up the book and continue writing. She loves writing and has done so for the last (5) years, but never published anything. The COVID-19 Pandemic hitting the US early year of 2020 made her aware that if she doesn't publish her book, it wouldn't or might not ever happen in her life.

I absolutely loved this book and found it both heartwarming and inspiring. The way the author weaves themes of love, faith, and resilience made it a truly captivating read. It’s a story that I believe would resonate with many, and it’s one I would love to gift to my sister. However, she’s blind, and as much as I want her to experience this beautiful story, she isn’t able to read it in its current format. I’m really hoping that an audiobook version of Loving from a Distance might be available or could be made in the future. I know my sister would greatly appreciate it and would enjoy the story just as much as I did.
I truly enjoyed Loving from a Distance. From start to finish, the story of Brenna and James was absolutely captivating. Their journey, from childhood to adulthood, kept me hooked, and I found myself so invested in their love and faith. The way you portrayed their struggles, especially with outside temptations, was both realistic and deeply moving. I particularly appreciated how the story wasn't just about love, but also about trust, commitment, and staying grounded in faith. It was refreshing to see a romance that highlights the importance of keeping God at the center of a relationship. The characters' growth and the way they faced their challenges together made their love feel so real and inspiring. Thank you for writing such a beautiful and compelling story betty. It’s one that I won’t soon forget, and I’m so grateful to have read it. I’m looking forward to more of your work! 😍
I loved this book! It’s a story of love, trust, and faith, with characters you can root for. Brenna’s journey of staying true to her values and her love for James is inspiring. The book shows how love can triumph over difficulties when it’s rooted in faith and trust. A wonderful, feel-good read!
